About Ordering Kimono

 

 

Kimono are completely custom-made.
Each item will be tailored to the customer's measurements.

After your purchase, we will send you a size confirmation form via email.
Please refer to the following and measure your tailoring size, then complete the items in the form.

Once the form is complete, please email it as a PDF or photo attachment.
Alternatively, you can send the numbers and sizes clearly stated in the email body.

*If there are any unclear points, we may contact you for confirmation.

*Please reply within one week.

 

 

We will send a reply email to confirm receipt.
Production will begin three days after that, so
if there are any size changes, please notify us by email within three days.

*Cancellations or changes will not be accepted after this period.

 

 

【For Women】

~For those who own a kimono~

Refer to the diagram and measure sizes ① to ⑩.

*For ① and ②, either one is sufficient.
Please use the one that is easiest to measure.

 

 

~For those who do not own a kimono~

Please refer to the diagram below and measure your body size.

A. Height　　
B. Shoulder width　
C. Arm length
D. Bust
E. Hip

Stand straight with your arm raised at a 45-degree angle.
　Shoulder width: From the base of the neck (cervical point) to the shoulder point
　Arm length: From the shoulder point to the wrist point

 

D. Bust
Measure horizontally at the height of the bust.

E. Hip
Measure horizontally around the hip bone, or the widest part.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

【For Men】

~For those who own a kimono~

~For those who do not own a kimono~

Please refer to the diagram below and measure your body size.

A. Mitake (Kimono length)

A. Mitake (Kimono length)

Stand straight and measure from the prominent bone at the center back of your neck (cervical point) to the mid-height of your ankle bone.
 

 

B. Shoulder width　　C. Arm length

Stand straight with your arm raised at a 45-degree angle.

　Shoulder width: From the base of the neck (cervical point) to the shoulder point
　Arm length: From the shoulder point to the wrist point

 

D. Waist circumference　

Measure horizontally at the height of the bust.

E. Hip circumference
Measure horizontally just above the navel, or at the widest part.

 

 

 

 

~About Tailoring~

 

 

・Men's kimono have a "bo-eri" collar, and women's kimono have a "bachi-eri" collar.
・Both men's and women's kimono are unlined (hitoe仕立て).
　(Denim fabric is tightly woven and sturdy, making unlined tailoring ideal.)
・Main parts are machine-stitched, but the hemming (main edges) are carefully finished with hand-stitching.

※Since each item is finished by hand, please understand that there may be slight dimensional variations.

 ※If there is any defect in the tailored product,
　please contact us within 1 month of receiving the product.
　If the defect is due to our fault, we will repair it free of charge.
　Repairs after this period will incur a fee.
