Privacy Policy

Our shop recognizes the importance of protecting our customers' personal information, and in compliance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter, the "Personal Information Protection Act"), we are committed to the appropriate handling and protection of personal information in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter, this "Privacy Policy").

1.Definition of Personal Information
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act — that is, information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in such information (including information that can be readily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), or information containing an individual identification code.

2.Purpose of Use of Personal Information
Our shop uses customers' personal information for the following purposes:
(1) To provide our shop's services;
(2) To respond to inquiries and provide guidance related to our shop's services;
(3) To provide information regarding our shop's products and services;
(4) To respond to acts that violate our shop's terms, policies, and other rules related to our services (hereinafter, "Terms, etc.");
(5) To notify customers of changes to the Terms, etc. related to our shop's services;
(6) To improve our shop's services and to assist in the development of new services;
(7) To create statistical data related to our shop's services that has been processed so as not to identify any specific individual;
(8) For other purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

3.Changes to the Purpose of Use of Personal Information
Our shop may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope reasonably considered to be related to the original purpose, and will notify customers or make a public announcement in the event of such a change.

4.Restrictions on the Use of Personal Information
Except as permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws, our shop will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the customer's consent. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
(1) Where required by law;
(2) Where necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent;
(3) Where particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent;
(4) Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a party entrusted by such an agency, in carrying out affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer's consent would be likely to impede the performance of such affairs.

5.Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
Our shop will acquire personal information appropriately, and will not acquire it through deceptive or otherwise improper means.

6.Safety Management of Personal Information
Our shop will provide its employees with the necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the safety management of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage. Additionally, when our shop outsources all or part of the handling of personal information, we will provide the necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the outsourced party also maintains safety management of the personal information.

7.Provision to Third Parties
Except where disclosure is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws, our shop will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the customer's prior consent. However, the following cases do not constitute "provision to a third party" as defined above:
(1) Where personal information is provided in connection with our shop outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use;
(2) Where personal information is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reason;
(3) Where personal information is jointly used in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act.

8.Disclosure of Personal Information
When a customer requests disclosure of their personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, our shop will, after confirming that the request is made by the customer in question, disclose the information to the customer without delay (and will notify the customer if no such personal information exists). However, this does not apply in cases where our shop is not obligated to disclose such information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws.

9.Correction of Personal Information
When a customer requests the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter, "Correction, etc.") of their personal information on the grounds that it is inaccurate, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, our shop will, after confirming that the request is made by the customer in question, promptly conduct the necessary investigation within the scope required to achieve the purpose of use, carry out the Correction, etc. based on the results, and notify the customer accordingly (and will notify the customer if a decision is made not to carry out the Correction, etc.). However, this does not apply in cases where our shop is not obligated to make such corrections under the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws.

10.Suspension of Use of Personal Information
When a customer requests the suspension of use or deletion (hereinafter, "Suspension of Use, etc.") of their personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use previously announced, or that it was acquired through deceptive or otherwise improper means, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, our shop will, if the request is found to be justified, and after confirming that the request is made by the customer in question, promptly carry out the Suspension of Use, etc. and notify the customer accordingly. However, this does not apply in cases where our shop is not obligated to do so under the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws.
