【Fabric Features ~Designated Fiber (Tencel)~】
This refers to regenerated fiber (melted and re-spun into yarn) made from wood pulp.
This fabric is primarily made from eucalyptus.
It is an environmentally friendly natural material, 100% plant-derived.

a natural blend creates a striped pattern.

・Leaving it wet for a long time may cause color fading.
・After washing, reshape it and dry it flat in the shade in a well-ventilated area.

【A Message from the Owner】
Thank you for visiting our website among many others.

In Kojima, Kurashiki City, cotton has been cultivated for approximately 400 years, and it is now known as the "City of Textiles."
Today, it is a famous town producing a wide variety of textiles, including denim, tatami-beri (tatami mat edging), and sanadahimo (braided cords).
Denim is particularly famous.

In Kojima, many new types of denim are produced that redefine the traditional image of workwear.

The materials also vary, including not only cotton but also silk denim, wool denim, nylon denim, and more.

Among these, this summer denim kimono is made of Tencel, which is 100% plant-derived (mainly eucalyptus).

◆Features of Tencel fiber
・Luster
・Suppleness
These are essential elements for stylish kimonos.

・Gentle feel and refreshing texture
・Quick-drying
These are truly perfect qualities for summer.

・100% natural material
Kimonos are the ultimate sustainable attire, and furthermore, this material is safe and secure, placing no burden on the global environment.

・Delicate yarn
The fabric is thin, woven with very fine threads, suitable for wear from the unlined (hitoe) season to mid-summer (seika).

Therefore, the weaving technique directly correlates with quality.
The skill of experienced artisans is indispensable for weaving delicate threads on a loom.
This fabric boasts the high technical prowess of Kojima denim.

We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your Japanese attire life even more with denim kimonos tailored to each season.
