【A Message from the Owner】
Thank you for visiting our website among many others.

In Kojima, Kurashiki City, cotton has been cultivated for about 400 years, and it is now known as a "textile town."
Today, it is a famous town where many textiles such as denim, tatami borders, and Sanada himo are produced.
Denim is particularly famous.

In Kojima, many new types of denim are produced, transforming the traditional image of denim as workwear.

Materials also vary, including not only cotton but also silk denim, wool denim, nylon denim, and more.

Among them, this summer denim kimono is made of 100% plant-derived (mainly eucalyptus) Tencel.

◆Features of Tencel Fiber
・Luster
・Suppleness
These are essential elements for kimono fashion.

・Soft to the touch and refreshing texture
・Dries quickly
These are perfect features for summer.

・100% natural material
Kimono is the ultimate sustainable garment, and this material is also safe and secure, placing no burden on the global environment.

・Delicate yarn
It is a thin fabric woven with very fine yarn, suitable for wear from the unlined (hitoe) season to mid-summer (seika).

Therefore, the fabric weaving technology directly relates to quality.
The skill of experienced craftsmen is indispensable for weaving delicate yarn on a loom.
This fabric boasts the high technical prowess of Kojima denim.

We sincerely hope you will enjoy your Japanese attire life even more with denim kimonos suited for each season.
