The Hayashibara Museum of Art, one of Okayama's proud museums.
There, a piano concert was held by Mr. Shoichi Hase.
On that very day, the Hayashibara Museum of Art's special exhibition "Old Art Lexicon Exhibition" was being held.
The concert was the ultimate luxury, with a grand piano brought into the exhibition room, allowing us to appreciate the artworks while listening to Mr. Hase's live performance.
I participate every year,
The real thrill of a museum concert is that the sound of the piano seems to differ subtly depending on the exhibition's content.
For example.
If it's an exhibition of armor, the touch might be more heroic.
If it's an exhibition of beautiful furnishings, the touch might be more elegant and gentle.
That's how it sounds to me, but I wonder how everyone else perceives it.
Artworks are not just exhibits,
They empower us,
The museum itself feels like a power spot,
That's how I feel about it.
At the end of such a wonderful concert,
I was given the honor of presenting a bouquet of thanks to Mr. Hase.

In honor of Mr. Hase, who came all the way to Okayama despite the pandemic,
I rushed to the concert dressed "Okayama from head to toe!"
Before presenting the bouquet, I took a moment to
talk about Okayama textiles.
A denim kimono made from eucalyptus wood.
A silk denim fabric containing silk and an obi made from tatami-beri.
Okayama's textile industry is still unknown and has much depth,
but one day it will spread its wings to the world, just like Mr. Hase.
With that great dream, I introduced the textiles.
After the performance, a small cluster formed around me?!
Mainly the ladies who attended the concert
became interested in Okayama textiles,
and admired the kimono and obi.
There are many Okayama textiles that are still unknown even locally.
I would be honored if this provided an opportunity for people to learn about them, even a little.
