【About Tailoring】
・Men's kimonos have a bō-eri (straight collar) finish, while women's kimonos have a bachi-eri (overlapping collar) finish.
・It is unlined (hitoe仕立て).
・The main parts are machine-stitched.
・The hemming (main edging) is hand-stitched, allowing for a fit that conforms to the body.
・Sleeve length is standardized at 1 shaku 3 sun (approx. 49 cm).

【Fabric Features ~ Cotton-Linen Denim ~】
This fabric is cool and comfortable to wear.
Both the warp and weft threads are made from a blended yarn of 70% cotton and 30% linen.
It is often used for shirts in Western clothing,
making it a perfect fabric for staying cool during the hot summer.
It can be worn not only as a summer kimono but also as a yukata.
【About Aftercare】
・This product is hand-washable.
・We recommend gently pressing and washing it in a folded state.
・Using a washing machine spin cycle or tumble dryer
may deform the kimono and is not recommended.
・Please be careful of pilling due to strong rubbing.
・Avoid using bleach when washing.
・Leaving it wet for a long time may cause color fading.
・After washing, reshape it and air dry it flat in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・When ironing, please use a pressing cloth and a medium temperature.

Among them, this denim is made from a blended yarn of cotton and linen.
◆What is blended yarn?
It refers to yarn spun from a combination of different types of fibers.
Different fibers have different properties. Blended fibers, so to speak, are fibers created through spinning technology to make our lives more comfortable.
For blended fabrics woven with blended yarns, the most common combination is a blend of natural fibers and chemical fibers.
However, this fabric is made of "cotton and linen," both of which are natural fibers.
It is a fabric that maximizes the advantages of both body-friendly fibers.
However, because it contains linen, wrinkles may form while wearing it.
