The materials (denim, tatami borders, Sanada straps) used in our bags and other "accessories" are all the same materials used for "Kojima Obi."
All of these are fibers born in Kojima, Kurashiki City.
There were various challenges during the development and commercialization of "Kojima Obi."
Even just denim fabric alone comes in an astonishing variety of colors, textures, and thicknesses.
Through trial and error, we finally arrived at the current fabric and materials, leading to the commercialization of the obi.
During that time, we accumulated a large quantity of fabrics that we tried but couldn't commercialize, as well as fabric scraps that inevitably remained during the obi production process.
Considering all of these to be valuable materials, and to make the most of them,
we design our unique original accessories in-house.
Therefore, while our products are limited in number,
we pour our hearts into making them, hoping that they will bring a touch of color to your lives.
