~ Cotton and Silk Twill ~
・A top-tier denim made by twisting three fine cotton threads together for the warp, and using silk thread for the weft.
・It combines the softness of silk with the durability of cotton, bringing out the best qualities of each.
・The fabric has an overall sheen, with a translucent, luminous color that is one of its key attractions.
・Dyes that resist fading are used.

~ Sanada-himo (Flat Braided Cord) ~
・Said to have been introduced to Kojima, Kurashiki City approximately 400 years ago.
・The durability of 100% cotton and its simple, rustic texture are the defining characteristics of Kojima Sanada-himo.

【Please Note (Care Instructions)】

・This product can be hand-washed.
・Do not use a washing machine or dryer.
　(Friction and strong spinning can cause the fabric to lose its sheen.)
・Please avoid using bleach when washing.
・Leaving the item wet for an extended period may cause the color to fade.
・Please be aware that strong friction or sweat may cause slight color transfer.
・When ironing, please use a pressing cloth and a medium heat setting.

Developing and bringing 【Kojima Obi】 to market involved many twists and turns.

Even looking at the fabric alone, the range of colors, textures, and thicknesses is remarkably wide.
Through much trial and error, we arrived at the fabrics and materials we use today, which became the obi and the rest of our product lineup.

Along the way, despite trying countless approaches, some fabrics simply never made it into a finished product, and a large amount of material was left over from the obi-making process.

We visited each manufacturer's workshop many times, touring their factories and asking the artisans questions. They also prepared numerous fabric trials for us.

Each time, we were told about strict production standards and heard directly from the artisans about their feelings toward their fabric. What we felt in those moments was the artisans' pride and love for their craft.

Knowing this, we found ourselves unable to throw away even a small scrap of fabric, and wanting to find some way to make full use of it — and that is how our wa-sou accessories were born.

Every item is an original design, created uniquely by us.

For this reason, our supply is limited, but we make each piece hoping it can bring a little more color into your everyday life.
