・This product is made from denim and Sanada-himo.
・Both of these materials come from the traditional industries of Kojima, Kurashiki City.
~ Sanada-himo ~
Sanada-himo is used to connect the main body of the keychain to its double ring.
This product uses a Sanada-himo featuring a "red selvedge" design — a motif unique to Kojima, the town of denim.
※What Is Selvedge?
When denim is woven using a "shuttle loom" (an older type of loom), a fray-resistant edge called a "selvedge" is created along the sides of the fabric.
When this selvedge features a red line, it is commonly known as "red selvedge," and is well loved among denim enthusiasts.
【Please Note】
Since raw (unwashed) denim is used, "fading marks" (ataly) will develop naturally with use, gradually turning it into a keychain that is uniquely yours.
