【About the Tailoring】
・Available in both men's and women's kimono construction.
・Tailored as an unlined (hitoe) garment.
・Men's kimono feature a bo-eri (straight collar); women's kimono feature a bachi-eri (tapered collar).
・Machine-sewn (with the edges finished using hand-kuke-style machine stitching).
【Aftercare】
・This product can be maintained at home.
・Please gently hand-wash it while folded, using a light pressing motion.
・If using a washing machine, use a gentle water flow and limit the spin cycle to 30 seconds or less.
・Using a tumble dryer may cause the product to become misshapen.
・Please avoid using bleach when washing.
・Leaving the item wet for an extended period may cause the color to fade.
・After washing, reshape it and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・When ironing, please iron from the reverse side of the fabric at a medium heat setting.
・For long-term storage or in cases of heavy soiling, we recommend consulting a specialist cleaner.

In Kojima, Kurashiki City, cotton has been cultivated for approximately 400 years, and the area is now known as a "textile town."
Today, it is a well-known town producing a wide range of fibers, including denim, tatami-beri, and Sanada-himo.
Denim, in particular, is especially famous.
In Kojima, many new types of denim are being produced that overturn its traditional image as workwear.
The materials used go beyond cotton alone, encompassing a variety of denim types, including Cotton and Silk Twill, wool denim, and nylon denim.
Among these, this denim is made from a blended yarn of cotton and linen.
◆What Is a Blended Yarn?
This refers to a yarn spun by combining two or more different types of fiber.
Different fibers mean different properties. Blended fibers, in a sense, are fibers born from spinning technology developed to make our daily lives more comfortable.
Blended fabrics woven from blended yarns are commonly made by combining natural and synthetic fibers.
This fabric, however, combines "cotton and linen" — both natural fibers.
It is a fabric that makes the most of the best qualities of two fibers that are both gentle on the body.
That said, because it contains linen, wrinkles may form while it is being worn.
