私は岡山の繊維を使った和装の企画・販売をしています。
また、着装士として晴れの日のサポートをしたり、和装の合理性や、
帯が体幹に優しい効果を伝える、着付け教室も運営しています。
そんな私が「つくり帯・和の羽」を開発したきっかけは、「未来の自分のため」でした。

The reason I developed Tsukuri Obi WANOHA was for my future self.
着付けに携わって約30年。
コロナ禍で洋服を手放してからは、和装で暮らす日々です。
最近、ほんの少しですが、年齢とともに先端の力が少しずつ弱くなってきているのを感じました。
「帯が結べなくなって、着物を着なくなった」と、以前聞いたご年配の方の言葉が、今、深く心に響きます。
着物を手放したくない。歳を重ねても、一人で簡単に帯を結べる方法があれば
――そんな思いから「WANOHA」は生まれました。
I have been living in traditional Japanese attire
since giving up Western clothing during the pandemic.
Recently, I have noticed a slight decline in the strength of my fingertips
as I have gotten older.
The words of an elderly person I once heard, “I stopped wearing kimono because I could no longer tie the obi,” now deeply resonate with me.
I don't want to give up kimono. If there were a way to tie the obi easily on my own even as I age—that's how “WANOHA” was born.
私は普段、半巾帯で創作結びを楽しんでいます。
帯結びは、自分を表現する手段です。
その技術と感性を活かして、「手結びのような仕上がり」と
「簡単に装着できる構造」を両立させました。
Obi tying is a means of self-expression.
I have combined the technique and sensibility of hand-tied knots
with a structure that allows for easy wearing.
和の羽の特徴

将来、自分が自信を持って和装を続けられることを前提に、試作を重ねて完成した帯です。
帯に悩み、和装を諦めかけている方の助けになればと願っています。
This obi was developed through repeated prototyping, with the premise
that future users can confidently continue wearing traditional Japanese attire.
I hope it will assist those who are struggling with obi and considering
giving up on traditional Japanese attire.

今後は、七五三や成人式、男性用帯などにもこの技術を活用していく予定です。
「もう手に力が入らない」と嘆く未来の私はいません。
この帯が、ずっと和装を楽しみたい方々にとって、喜びと自由を分かち合う「和の羽」となりますように。
In the future, we plan to expand our lineup beyond our original “Kojima Obi”
to include children's, coming-of-age ceremony, and men's obi.
There will be no future me lamenting, “I no longer have the strength in my hands.”
May this obi become a source of joy and freedom for those
who wish to continue enjoying traditional Japanese attire for years to come.
つくり帯 『和の羽 - WANOHA - 』 の装着方法
How to wear the “WANOHA” obi sash
１ 着物を着て、帯板を付けます
Put on your kimono and attach the obi-plate.
２ つくり帯『和の羽』を後ろに回し、背中に当てます
Bring the “WANOHA”around to the back and place it against your back.
３ 中央のマジックテープを、お腹の前（帯板の上）で止めます
Fasten the Velcro in the center at the front of your stomach.
４ 上部の三重ゴム紐を前で結びます（背負うように『和の羽』を持ち上げて、背中に付けると安定します）
Tie the upper triple elastic cord at the front. (Attaching it to your back like a backpack will stabilize it.)
５ 下部の紐が付いている帯を体の前で重ねます （左右どちらが上でもかまいません）
Overlap the obi with the lower strap at the front of your body. (It does not matter which side of the obi is on top.)
６ 下部の紐を後ろで交差し、前に持ってきて結びます
Cross the lower strings at the back, bring them to the front, and tie them.
７ 結んだ紐が見えないように、帯の下から内側に入れ込みます
Tuck the tied strings under the belt so they are not visible.
※ 帯の前を織り下げ、裏面を見せたコーディネートを楽しむこともできます
You can also enjoy coordinating by folding down the front of the belt to show the reverse side.
※ この帯は、左右それぞれに７ｃｍと８ｃｍのタックをとっていますので、帯のタックをほどけば、お腹周りのサイズを最大１５ｃｍ調整することができます。
This belt has 7 cm and 8 cm tucks on each side, so by undoing the tucks, you can adjust the waist size by up to 15 cm.
